Layer order matters

In gum bichromate, print layer order matters! I recently printed two images on Hahnemühle plat rag using the same negatives. I also used the same ratios of paint:gum:dichromate in both images. I maintained a consistent humidity and temperature in my studio throughout the entire printing process. The only difference between these two images is the printing order of the layers!

layer order: magenta, yellow, blue, black

layer order: blue, yellow, magenta, black
